The man found floating in a Davie canal on Thursday has been identified and two men have been charged in connection with the case.
On Saturday, Davie police identified the body as William Norman, 76, of Tampa.
Detectives said Norman had a bag affixed to his head.
South Florida Water Management employees were working near Southwest 14th Street and Southwest 121st Avenue when they found a body floating in the canal.
Andarly Desir, 19, and David Weintraub, 20, have been charged with premeditated murder. The details surrounding their arrest have not been released by police.
