Police divers near the Rexmere Village mobile home park in Davie found the bodies of two people in a car submerged in a canal located on Old South Hiatus Road and Tara Drive Friday afternoon.
According to police, it appears as if the car had been in the water for more than a day.
One resident said he had seen police officers at a home down the block from his during the day.
The bodies will be taken to the Medical Examiner's office to determine their identities.
