About 50 fans greeted Justin Bieber outside of St. Andrews Prep School on Friday afternoon as he went inside to honor three students who raised money for the Pencils of Promises charity.

The three students are siblings and used a website to raise more than $50,000 for the charity, which supports education in less fortunate countries.

The school tried to keep it a secret, but once Bieber Fever caught on, word got out.

Kendra Fulmer attends St. Andrews and was so proud that these kids attended her school.

"It's a good thing that they did that, and to get Justin Bieber to come here? Everyone is excited," Fulmer told local 10's Neki Mohan. Julian Swimmer is on spring break from New York. She got face-to-face with Bieber as he drove in but wept as his car took off to head inside the school.

"I didn't get a picture with him," Swimmer cried in exasperation.

Only students were allowed to attend the event. Parents had to wait until after school to hear all about their big Beiber day.

"Everybody is wonderfully excited because when people heard the news that he was going to come here, everybody was just like, 'Oh my gosh, when is he going to come?' And now he's finally coming, and everybody is just, like, waiting and anticipating," said Fulmer. "The energy is very good here today."

Even Boca's police chief tweeted, "Friday the 13th, the Biebs is coming, roads are slick. Let's be careful out there."

Cassidy Hermanowski was very impressed with the cause behind the visit.

"It's a good cause, and the videos he showed of these little girls were very cute," said Hermanowski.

Bieber is at the topof the charts again withhis new single, "Boyfriend."
