A professional boxer was charged with simple battery after he was involved in a fight outside LIV night club at the Fontainebleau, police say.
Miami Beach police arrested Adrien Broner and Michael Owensby outside the hotel about 3:39 a.m. Monday. Broner, nicknamed "The Problem," is 26-0 and a current WBC title holder.
According to an arrest affidavit, Broner, 23, and Owensby, 24, were fighting a group of men on the valet ramp of the hotel. Broner bit the arm of a security guard while Owensby pushed another as they were being separated.
Broner reportedly told police he didn't hit anyone.
