Broward County issued a cold weather emergency for late Wednesday and overnight Thursday as temperatures could reach lows in the 40s.
The cold weather emergency is in effect from:
6:30 p.m. Wednesday to 7 a.m. Thursday.
Anyone needing a place to stay is asked to report to one of three shelters in Broward County no later than 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
