A two-week construction project is set to begin on the Florida Turnpike Monday night closing off an exit ramp in Broward County.
Starting at 10 p.m., the northbound exit for Atlantic Boulevard will be closed for more than two weeks as construction crews work to widen the Turnpike as part of the "Broward Widening" project.
Drivers should exit at Coconut Creek Parkway as an alternate and follow the detour signs for Atlantic Boulevard.
The exit ramp is scheduled to reopen Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 5 a.m.
The entire "Broward Widening" project is set to be completed this summer.
