Just one day after winning the 100 meters at the Olympics, Usain Bolt is asking for a trial with one of England's most storied soccer clubs.
The Sun reports Bolt, who won gold Sunday, is hoping for a call from Sir Alex Ferguson, the manager at Manchester United.
He and Manchester United centerback Rio Ferdinand exchanged tweets Tuesday. Ferdinand offered his help to get the Jamaican sprinter a trial.
"If you want that trial at Man Utd shout me, I'll speak to the boss!! Well done in 100m, waiting for you to smash the 200m now!" tweeted Ferdinand.
Bolt has made similar comments before. In his autobiography, he said wanted to play professional soccer.
