Surveillance video of a shooting at a Lauderhill U-Save convenience store was released Thursday.
The shooting happened at 4039 Northwest 19th Street about 10 p.m. Tuesday.
The surveillance video showed the customer trying to get clerk Ramzi Foqahaa's attention, said Lauderhill police. But Foqahaa told the customer to wait in line.
The man then returned, with his shirt covering his face and holding a gun, and shot Foqahaa several times.
"Because the dude don't want to hold on no more. So they start an argument. They start cursing each other, whatever, whatever," said Omar Mustafa, one of the store owners. "So dude left. Came back 10, 15 minutes later with a gun, shot up my boy Ramzi, and that's not right."
Foqahaa, 21, is listed in serious condition at Broward General Medical Center. Foqahaa's family said he will likely be paralyzed.
"He was asking the nurse, 'I don't feel my leg, I don't feel my -- what's going on?,'" said Foqahaa's brother, Aysar Faraqaha.
Faraqaha said he knows people in the community have information about the shooter. He hopes someone comes forward to law enforcement who has information.
"I think he's a dangerous guy. Some person who does that is -- I don't think he's a normal guy," he said.
Tips have been coming into police since the shooting Tuesday.
The gunman is described as being 35 to 45-years-old, standing 5'6'' - 5'8'', heavy set, and with short hair.
Anyone with information about the gunman is asked to call Lauderhill police at 954-497-4700 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
