A small plane crashed through two fences while trying to take off from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport on Wednesday morning.
Fort Lauderdale police said the plane was trying to take off when it had a mechanical failure and crash-landed.
Witnesses said the plane bobbed up and down and got off the ground during takeoff before touching back down.

The plane took a nosedive through two fences and skidded to a stop just before reaching a nearby street, officials said.
The small plane is a Cessna 650 fixed-wing aircraft. It is registered to a company based in Wilmington, Delaware.
Six passengers and two crewmembers were aboard the plane at the time. No injuries were reported.
The Federal Aviation Administration is at the scene.
