Police are searching for the driver of a car that struck and killed a man early Saturday in Hollywood.
Hollywood police said Robert Consavage, 46, of Hollywood, was crossing North Ocean Drive at Indiana Street about 2:45 a.m. when a car driving south hit him.
The driver did not stop at the scene, police said.
Consavage was pronounced dead.
Car parts found at the scene led police to believe the car that hit Consavage was a white 2007 Dodge Magnum station wagon. Police said the vehicle is missing a passenger-side mirror and may have front-end damage and windshield or headlight damage.
Surveillance video from a nearby business showed the crash.
