It looks like free agent Ray Allen will be signing with the Heat after all.
Late Friday night, Heat owner Micky Arison tweeted, "Its 2:30am in London and I was just woken up with great news. Welcome to the family #20!!"
The veteran sharp shooter wears the number 20.
Allen's meetings with team president Pat Riley and the rest of the front office went well into Thursday night.
The Boston Celtics, Allen's former team, we're the Heat's biggest competition in the pursuit of the shooter, but it looks like Pat Riley got his man once again.
The Associated Press confirmed Allen's decision with his agent.
