A tornado ripped through Golden Beach in Broward County on Sunday, tearing through the sand and launching chairs 30 feet in the air.
A boat was flipped 100 feet into a neighboring yard.
The funnel cloud, which began as a water spout before reaching land, then hit Ocean Drive, striking a couple homes and damaging a steel gate.
"It's very strong to get the gate to bend the way it did," said Golden Beach Police Officer Leila Perez.
Up to 85 mile an hour winds moved through the town. No injuries were reported.
"Thankfully not, that was our first concern - we were able to ascertain that no one was hurt," said Perez.
