Five people were taken into custody Friday night after a standoff outside an Oakland Park home.
Broward Sheriff's deputies said a person was shooting into the air near 110 NE 48th St. When officials arrived, the suspect shot at a deputy and ran back to the house and barricaded himself inside. SWAT team units surrounded the home and eventually the shooter surrendered, BSO said.
Investigators said there were five people inside the home, four men and one woman, including the suspect. All of them were taken into custody for questioning.
No one was hit and no injuries were reported.
