Miami Beach's fourth annual gay pride weekend culminates in an all-day festival on Sunday. Activist Chaz Bono is slated to act as the parade's Grand Marshal.
The parade took place along Ocean Drive, between Fifth Street and 15th Street. Right after the parade, the festival will kick up, featuring a host of musical performances and more than 100 LGBTQ-friendly vendors and businesses.
Miami Beach Gay Pride has become the city's largest, one day event of the year. Last year, the weekend attracted more than 40,000 people from all different backgrounds.
The 2012 event started on Thursday with The Fashion, Food & Fierceness party at The Art Deco Welcome Center. Other Miami Beach Gay Pride events included a block party and pool party.
