Tuesday, Lauderhill police released the identity of a woman whose body was found at a home on April 6.
Police said 35-year-old Felisha June Rutherford's body was found at 7370 NW 51 St. after someone reported a foul odor coming from a bedroom.
Her family reported her missing in Miami-Dade County on April 6 after they hadn't heard from her. The family told police that in March, Rutherford told them she was going to Lauderhill to live with her boyfriend, Marlon Woodstock, 36.
Woodstock was arrested on unrelated charges and bonded out of jail.
Rutherford's cause of death has not been determined. The medical examiner is awaiting toxicology results, according to Lauderhill police.
