Miami-Dade police were investigating a shooting in Northwest Miami-Dade that sent a girl to the hospital Saturday morning.
The girl, 15, was injured while in her home at NW 55th Terrace and NW 24th Ave.
She was taken to the emergency room, but her condition wasn't immediately released.
The bullet holes can be seen in the home.
The family said they have three children. The shooting victim was in her bed with her younger sister when she was hit.
Police do not know whether the shooter was on foot or in a car.
