Jackson Health System CEO Carlos Migoya says the hospital organization plans to lay off more than 900 people.
Migoya said 920 people will be laid off.
In addition to the layoffs, Migoya said 195 empty positions will be eliminated, resulting in the cuts of 1,115 jobs.
Migyoa said the cuts likely will take place by the end of April.
