State records show a rodent running into the Papa John's located in Pompano Beach, just north of Atlantic Boulevard.
Two other South Florida restaurants were also ordered shut because of violations that could potentially be hazardous to your health.

"Rodent activity present as evidenced by rodent droppings found. 30 fresh outside the walk-in cooler. 5 fresh by inside the mop sink in the storage area. 4 dry under a storage rack for pizza boxes. 40 moist under storage racks. 1 fresh on a electrical box next to the breaker box. About 25 dry in the office on computer equipment on a rack. Also observed 4 rat traps and 1 glue board in use. Note: all of the droppings have been cleaned up except for the office."
"Rodent rub marks present along walls/ceilings. On the top of the circuit breaker box by the walk-in cooler."
"Live rodent present. Observed a live rat come through the opening in the rear door and go into the wall through a hole under the 3 compartment sink."

Note: broken lowboy refrigerator was placed outside."
"Dead roaches on premises. 1 inside a broken lowboy refrigerator on the meat cook line. 1 on the floor in the hall near the meat cooking area."
