More victims of Nationwide Pools come forward

Last week, Local 10 told you about a Nationwide Pools customer who claimed the company hasn't been out to his house in two months -- leaving his pool unfinished -- despite paying the company $32,000.

Shawn Chase said he decided to build a pool in his back yard as a gift to his mother, who spends six months in South Florida.

Chase agreed to pay Pompano Beach-based Nationwide Pools to build his pool seven months ago. But now his yard is a construction zone and the builder is nowhere to be found.

Since that report, several more Local 10 viewers have called to say Nationwide Pools ripped them off too.

The Florida Attorney General Office says it's investigating eight complaints it has received about the company so far this year.

If you feel you've been victimized by Nationwide Pools, you can file a complaint by visiting the Florida Attorney General's website.
