Giant bunnies are invading South Florida just in time for Easter.
Made from recycled plastic and in colors ranging from glowing orange to cool aqua, the bunnies are creations from the same group that introduced the world to enormous pink snails and Everglades-inspired animal art.
Presented by Galleria Ca d'Oro, which has a gallery in Rome as well as in Coral Gables, the brightly-colored bunnies made their South Florida debut in the garden area of the Village of Merrick Park.
Some have popped up at Neiman Marcus and others can be seen at the gallery.
According to an artists' brochure, "These big vibrant animals invite viewers to re-examine their perspectives on urban life and inspire people to play with their cities."
