Executives at Sunpass have reported a glitch in their system that has overcharged some drivers, according to the Sun Sentinel.
The newspaper reports box trucks with a mechanical lift are being scanned as having more than two axles, which costs more.
Turnpike officials say other drivers have been affected but say it’s very rare. This overcharging was also an issue before the new Sunpass system was installed six years ago.
