A South Florida man accused of causing a fatal 2010 car crash will be in Broward court Tuesday after picking up more traffic tickets.
Michael Moshe-Romano, 31, recently received a citation for knowingly driving with a suspended license.
Moshe-Romano has previously admitted to his role in the December 15, 2010, crash that killed 83-year-old John Villano. The crash happened at the corner of Atlantic Boulevard and Northwest 31st Avenue.
Despite his acknowledgments about his poor driving, police say Moshe-Romano continues to drive recklessly. He has racked up numerous tickets since he was just 18 years old for everything from DUI to fleeing from police to careless operation of a vehicle.
Tuesday’s hearing could determine whether Moshe-Romano will ever drive again. He faces a year in jail if convicted and has pleaded not guilty.
