Deputies are asking for the public's assistance in helping to locate an 82-year-old man who went missing from his home around 1 pm on Friday.
According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, Cesar Altamirano, 82, left his residence in the 5951 SW 112 Way on foot and without his medication.
BSO said Altamirano suffers from dementia, depression and diabetes. He has a distrust of police, says deputies.
Deputies said he walks slowly and usually wears a silver watch and a blue/purple, plastic bracelet with the phrase "In God We Trust."
BSO says Altamirano is 5-foot 5-inches tall, weighs between 140 to 145 pounds, and was last seen wearing a beige shirt and tan-colored pants.
Anyone with information on Altamirano's whereabouts is asked to contact the Broward Sheriff's Office non-emergency number at 954-765-4321.
