Golden Globes hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are determined to make sure viewers enjoy this year's awards show -- no matter how many meatball subs and cocktails it takes.

The comedic duo proposed rules for a Golden Globes drinking game during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter:

Drink anytime an actress cries during her speech Drink anytime you see a person actively not listening to someone onstage Drink anytime someone says, "I didn't prepare anything!" Eat a meatball sub anytime someone thanks Harvey Weinstein Take off an article of clothing anytime they show Judi Dench Take off an article of clothing (for) anything Maggie Smith wins

It's fitting considering the Globes is known for being the liveliest awards show of the season.

"It's a tough crowd because it's a lot of nervous people waiting to see if they win or lose, and as the night goes on, the losers outnumber the winners," Poehler told THR. "But having been in a lot of those awards shows, the Golden Globes are more fun because you can drink. It's just that easy."

And as Fey notes, "When you get a bunch of people in a room who don't eat much, and you give them one drink, it gets good fast."

Fey and Poehler's drinking game differs from the one "Bridesmaids" co-stars Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Melissa McCarthy proposed onstage at the 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards, which only had one rule: Drink anytime someone says Martin Scorsese.
