One of the biggest boat parades is about to kick off in Fort Lauderdale.
On Friday, Local 10's Ben Kennedy boarded the Caprice, a 130-foot yacht about to be prepped to hit the water.
"The deer overhang, like they are jumping off the boat," said Decorator Mark Coar.
The Caprice will join more than 100 boats in the Winterfest Boat Parade, which will travel 12 miles beginning at the Intracoastal downtown.
"It's unlike any parade you have ever seen, a lot of logistics to make it all happen," said Sun Dream Yacht Charters President Bob Brantmeyer.
Odds are it won't be hard to miss as thousands will either board a boat or pick a spot along the coast for a great view.
"It's worth it, when you see the smile on people's faces," said Coar.
The parade is scheduled to begin after 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 15. For more information about the Winterfest Boat Parade, click here.
