Two people are in critical condition after they were shot in front of a Miami grocery store, according to authorities.
The shooting happened along Northwest 2nd Court and 17th Street Sunday night.
Police said an unknown shooter began firing at the victims, striking them several times. The shooter then left the scene, police said.
Both victims were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Unit. The female victim was in surgery Sunday night. The male victim was also listed in critical condition.
Detectives said they are continuing to investigate the shooting, but have minimal information about the shooter.
Local 10's Ben Kennedy reported neighbors said the woman is up to eight months pregnant.
