A longtime pickup truck ban in Coral Gables is no longer in effect, but there is a catch.
In November, voters overwhelmingly approved a bill that allows residents to park pickup trucks in their driveways at night.
But starting December 1st, the bed of the truck has to be empty and it can't have any company markings or labels on them.
Otherwise, drivers could be fined.
The changes come after pickups were banned from being parked in driveways at night for more than 50 years.
Instead, drivers were forced to put their pickups in a garage to conceal them.
