A South Florida woman issued a public cry for help Monday afternoon to locate her missing son.
According to Jeanne McPherson, her son, John Joseph Mastalski was staying in Deerfield Beach at Our Place, a halfway house for men in recovery.
She says he was taken to Broward North Hospital, and was released at 4 a.m. Monday. He has not been seen since.
"Johnny has a heart condition and without his medication and in relapse this could prove fatal," McPherson wrote in an e-mail to Local 10. "If you could please run his picture and contact information I would be ever so grateful."
Jeanne McPherson says her son's father is serving in Afghanistan as a forensic consultant and they are worried beyond belief.
Mastalski is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, has blue eyes, sandy brown hair and a tattoo of a polish bird symbol on his arm.
