Television entertainer Rosie O'Donnell is in some hot water after photos of hammerhead sharks that she and her family caught landed on the internet. When pictures of the talk show host and her children standing next to the dead sharks recently surfaced the comedian was criticized for not being conservation minded. Now there is even a campaign on facebook to shut down the boat captain she fishes with.

Pictures of O'Donnell, who spends a great deal of her time in South Florida, were posted on the website of Mark "The Shark" Quartiano, a local fisherman who took the talk show host and her family out on expeditions, said everyone took part in the adventure.
"Chelsea actually her daughter caught that fish, about three hours fighting that fish it was unbelievable," said Quartiano
Quartiano has been a South Florida charter captain for over 20 years specializing in shark hunting. He takes O'Donnell and her kids fishing often. In fact, that 13-foot Hammerhead is mounted in her star island home. Quartiano says conservationists should target their campaign at commercial fishermen. A new Florida law makes it illegal to kill a Hammerhead in Florida waters because of their dwindling population but Mark say they catch their sharks in international waters.
"Mark the Shark" says he spoke with O'Donnell by phone today and says she is amused by the flap but may do a show on the topic.
