Four people and a dog escaped injury Friday morning when fire destroyed their mobile home.
"Wow, mucho fuego," said Pepe Rubio, describing the fire the drove him and his dog out of their home.
"First I heard the noise. Then I opened the door to see what happened and I see the flames coming out of the door," said one neighbor. "I called rescue really quick."
According to investigators, firefighters had to break down the gates to the community near N.W. 79th Street in order to access the home.
The mobile home was split into two apartments. A man and his two daughters lived on one side. Rubio and his dog lived on the other side.
The Red Cross is helping the victims. No other homes in the area were affected.
Meanwhile, detectives continue to sift through the debris to find the cause.
