Gulfstream Park's poker room was reopened on Saturday after water damage from an aquarium forced it to shut down.
The room, located on the first floor, had been closed since Sept. 2 when a crack on a 13-gallon aquarium caused flooding inside the park's casino.
Salt water and fish covered the slot machines. However, crews worked hard to clean up the mess.
The casino remains closed, but officials say it will reopen soon.
"It's unfortunate we had to close five days, but we're very grateful to our guests for their patience and understanding," said Gulfstream's Director of Gaming Mike Couch. "With our poker room completed with new carpet, walls, artwork and furniture, we continue working around the clock on our casino and we will open as soon as possible. We look forward to a grand opening next week and welcoming our guests back with $70,000 in prizes in seven days," he added.
