Surveillance cameras captured an armed man robbing Marina Discount Beverage on Southwest 15th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.
It happened about 9:40 p.m. Friday.
The man walked into the convenience store holding a handgun, said Fort Lauderdale police. The armed robber then forced the clerk to open the register. He took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran off.
The armed robber was last seen wearing black shorts, a black long-sleeve t-shirt, black sneakers, and a black t-shirt draped over his face.
