The NFL will make history on Thursday night when the league's first female referee works the Packers vs. Chargers game in San Diego.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Shannon Eastin will be the first woman to be part of an NFL officiating crew.
Eastin, a collegiate referee with the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, will join a group of replacement officials who are working games while the NFL's full-time officials are locked out due to a labor dispute.
