An 8 p.m. curfew will be enforced starting Friday along Main Street in the town of Miami Lakes.
The move comes after what is being described as a melee on Christmas night.

"We were taken by surprise. That shows you the power of social media," said Graham Companies Commercial Real Estate President Carol Wyllie.
Graham Companies owns Main Street.
Messages posted on Twitter and Facebook urged teens to meet up at the normally quiet shopping and dining area. According to the first responding police officer, 3,000 to 5,000 young people were running through Main Street and also gathered outside the movie theater.
"I had to lock the door. They broke tables and chairs," said Mario Meneses, who runs a pizzeria near the movie theater.
He said the crowd was so out of control, he closed his doors before the scheduled closing time.
Some of the young people were setting off cherry bombs and fire crackers, witnesses said. A 16-year-old boy said he was shot during the chaos. He said a friend drove him to a hospital.
Miami Lakes officials said there is no evidence the shooting happened at Main Street. The 16-year-old's mother refused to talk to Local 10.
Besides enforcing a curfew, Wyllie said no-loitering rules will also be strictly enforced and six to eight additional off-duty Miami-Dade police officers will be patrolling Main Street starting Friday night.
Miami Lakes Mayor Michael Pizzi will hold a press conference along Main Street on New Year's Eve at 5 p.m. to reassure everyone the area is safe.
